La Sentenelle 310
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep colour, quite rounded. Quite ripe spicy fruit, quite mouthfilling – a tannic streak, oaky tapenade notes.

Tasting: Languedoc
Saturated dense black red. Forceful Syrah aromas: huge charm, though a bretty edge too (it’s almost part of the charm, bizarrely). Deep, earthy, long and searching flavours: the Mourvedre proves its worth on the palate. This is a thunderously impressive, dramatic, dense, almost explosive wine of profound aromatic force. It’s had 18 months of oak, yet the inner resource of the wine is such that the oak isn’t at all obtrusive. Magnificent; monumental; not quite impeccable.
Simon Taylor
Tasting: Languedoc
Lifted , raspberry cordial scent. Rustic, vital wine. Just too lean
