Apogee
Manufacturer:
Rosemary George
Tasting: Languedoc
Deep colour, rounded nose. Quite a firm concentrated palate – some oak, quite dense. A bit flat on finish.

Tasting: Languedoc
Saturated deep black-red. Earthy, gruff, with a sense that the oak has slightly constrained the fruit. Deep, lush, voluptuous and full on the palate, though;here the oak seems to fill out and amplify the wine. Resonant, long and searching. I still think the oak is a little too overt, but this is a splendid red wine by any criterion and on the palate is hugely powerful, resonant and long.

Tasting: Languedoc
Very deep tone. Muted aromas. Rather fresh Syrah, but just spoiled by excessive grip and oak.
