Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Some oxidation on the first bottle, and a trace on the second. Somewhat porty nose. Rich and assertive, though the fruit is certainly ripe and spicy. Yet the finish is blunt and this lacks elegance and flair.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Slightly tired, oxidised note on the nose (two bottles tasted). Ripeness level pushed. Palate sweet and extracted. Very drying finish with a hint of alcohol.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Supple and open fruit, but already forward, and while it has natural sweetness from the vintage, there is little back up.
