Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Muted black cherry and plum nose. Rich but dense, with furry tannins and some raw acidity. This is very extracted, with drying tannins, and an absence of zip and freshness. Fairly short too.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Slightly tired, stewed fruit. Tough and dry on the finish. Extraction pushed.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Quite rich Merlot nose, lots of autumnal berry fruit and a nice touch of acidity. Quite sweet but also broad and robust. Good depth of fruit but the acidity needs to blend back in.
