Caves Saint-Pierre
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Slightly dank and cardboardy nose. Rich, full-bodied, and textured, with good concentration and more freshness than the nose. Tangy and spicy, with some red fruits driving the palate. Quite stylish and has moderate length.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Graphite, woodsmoke and cerise are all evidenced here with a touch of peat and forest floor for good measure. The palate has quite firm tannins, firm but not over-whelming, and a concentrated stone-fruit profile, which will soften over time and open out in harmony with the lively acidity. Nice shape and impressive length.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Pine, vanilla, oily black fruit airs, some green stems, the nose is open, not sure how much progress it can make. The palate edges forward, lacks a true centre of fruit, with an acidity that is lining it over its fruit. Limited horizon wine.
