Les Challeys
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Stewed nose, slightly gamey. The palate is fresher than the nose, but the tannins are quite dry. This lacks concentration and depth, a simple wine with some vigour and bite on the finish. Moderate length.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Youthful colour and rather gangly adolescent nose; the hint of reduction does not help especially. The palate is better with harmonious blackberry fruit, nicely etched tannins and a refreshing finish.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Smoky air first air, refined fruit inside the bouquet, raspberry fruit which lacks a little lift, has light floral seasoning. The palate offers red berry fruit in a safe manner, does not have a large profile, and provides quiet drinking. The tannins fit in, are mild. Correct, but lacks extra, and is inclined to taper towards the finish.
