Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Jubilee cherries (or whatever that cherry in liqueur pudding is called) and plums on the nose, which is also a touch fruitcakey and tarry. Rich, solid, a bit stewed and assertive, with firm acidity. Tannic and forceful, but not harmonious and somewhat coarse.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Attractive red fruit aromas, with a spicy backdrop and hints of graphite then a ripe poised mid-palate, with myrtle, loganberry and sage all evidenced, with balanced acidity a fine refreshing finish.
John Livingstone-Learmonth
Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Stewed blackberry fruit air, ripe but a little limp. Damp leaves, toffee, notes of mint also. The palate is centred on spiced berry jam, has a thrust of late tannin that kicks it on. Sinewed wine, on the move; the finish is edgy rather than settled.
