Domaine du Tunnel
Manufacturer:

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Both fresh and meaty on the nose, has typicity. Medium-bodied, fresh and juicy, vibrant and charming, with intensity and drive. It doesn’t have great depth or complexity, but there’s precision and zest. Moreish and typical. Quite long.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
Purple of hue, with a friendly nose of forest floor and loganberry; the palate is is little stewed and lacks the definition and purity of expression evidenced elsewhere.

Tasting: Saint Joseph 2010
High style aroma, a big orb of thick blackberry fruit, a few meaty notions as well. Decant this to liberate the bouquet. The style is full, deliberately, so it works on a coating of black fruit, prune, with a sweet stretch before the finish. The tannins are butty, give it foundation. Needs leaving until mid-2014 to get the best from it, when it will be looser and freer. A rather stewed style.
