Morello cherry and violets, and a touch of Viognier-like flavours on palate. Dry tannins, lovely texture and a wine to age. Slightly overworked for my taste.

Dense youthful colour, sweet / savoury black fruits fragrance and equally opulent, powerful sweet cassisy fruitiness on the palate supported by quite chunky, muscular tannins and bright, attractively savoury fresh acidity. It’s quite big and chunky but there’s lots of fruit.
