Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Spicy citric nose, lime, with delicate oak yet retains purity of fruit. Rich, lush, full-bodied, quite concentrated, and all balanced by racy, lemony acidity. The finish has a welcome tang, though it shows a trace of heat. Long.

 Quite strong acid, but quite powerful, too. Needs to settle down a touch. Could improve. Fair amount of oak.

Fullish lemon yellow, fine expression of summer fruits on the nose and good smoothness and richness on the palate, fruit and acidity all in balance.
