Les Combes 1er Cru
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Spicy apple and quince nose. Good attack, quite concentrated, and has some firm underlying acidity. This has some grip and vigour, and should Improve, even if not very expressive now. Mineral and long.
Jason Haynes
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Some toasty spice on the nose, palate well matched. Good bite and acid, finishes very clean and dry, almost mouth-watering. Very attractive.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Fullish lemon yellow, nose of yellow fruits, quite citrusy and still a little green, needs time to evolve and acidity is really quite high.
