Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Broad pear nose. Rich, plump, rather heavy and obvious, though there is some acidity in the background. There’s adequate concentration of fruit and some extract and grip so it doesn’t lack character. Good length, nutty finish.

Quite lemony nose, some volume in the mouth. Decent structure and balance.

Bright lemon yellow, yellow flowers and fruits on the nose, good depth and oak still present, but not phenolic, quite broad, just a bit four-square.
