Le Champlot 1er Cru
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Spicy lively nose, crisp pears, apricots. Fresh but juicy, has ample fruit, quite forward, but there’s firm underlying acidity to give some bite. Indeed the acidity becomes rather fierce on the finish, but it supports a distinct minerality. Quite long.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Nice stony mineral nose coupled with fruit intensity. Strong ripeness in the mouth. Could be a bit more seamless but pretty good, nice freshness.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Yellow green, quite floral and lifted nose, some acidity, but this blends in with the structure which is good, nice wine if a little hard now.
