Les Frionnes 1er Cru
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Rich apricot and lime nose. Broad and almost burly, with good weight of fruit, modest acidity, and an upfront fruitiness. There’s some extract on the finish, which is quite dry, but there’s little complexity overall. Moderate length.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Again, very correct but perhaps lacks a little wow factor to be great. Some freshness and citrus on the nose, hint of mineral, decent acid. Could just be young. Some promise, evolves well in the glass.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Bright lemon yellow, white and yellow flowers nose, elegant expression of fruit, good acidity and minerality, a touch severe now, but a finely made wine with a good future.
