Les Champlots 1er Cru
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Broad apple and apricot fruit, quite powerful. Rich, compact, fruity, and ripe, with fine weight of fruit. The acidity seems tacked on to enliven the finish. Medium length and lacks some drive.
Jason Haynes
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Smokey, almost flinty nose. Still young. Nice bite on the finish. Good control. Racy, lots to come.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Fullish yellow green, quite phenolic/oaky nose, some sweetness on the palate, ripe and fruity, just a bit on the over-rich side.
