En Remilly 1er Cru
Manufacturer:
Jean-Claude Boisset, En Remilly 1er Cru, St. Aubin, Burgundy, 2011

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Lush apple compote nose. Rich, rounded, burly, with considerable weight of fruit but not quite enough acidity to balance the wine. But it’s concentrated and spicy, and has plenty of personality. Quite long, with some drive on the finish.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Good intensity of fruit mid-palate. Quite sunshine-y but still balanced. Not clumsy. Nicely crafted. Too sappy.

Tasting: St. Aubin 2011
Fullish yellow green, quite rich yellow fruits and quite phenolic, but the oak is blended in and the alcohol is in balance with quite a rich wine, good, not great.
