Muted nose with an unappealing cardboard tone. Medium-bodied, slack, soupy, a bit dull and flat, with earthy tannins. Fairly short.

Bright nose, soft fruits, summer berry compote and tobacco, pencil lead and gravel, palate solidand full with elegant tannins, great structure and a long length.

Quite fragrant, even floral summer berries nose, good depth of fruit on the palate, overtones of leather, vigourous and rich fruit with oak beginning to blend in and tannins still robust to hold it for the future, a very good wine that combines freshness and intensity.
