Domaine A
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
A warmer, more tarry style to this than to its Coal River peers. Deep, forceful; quite a meaty, muscular Pinot with a dryness to its fruit.
Roger Jones
Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
This wine has aged well and there are some lovely nuances of dried berries and soft vanilla spices coming through. An elegant wine which needs food to highlight its quality – roasted turbot with truffles would be good.
Alessandro Marchesan
Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
Intense, terroir-driven minty, chocolate character on the nose. Full bodied, richly extracted wine with marked, tannic structure and long but slightly hot aftertaste.
