Le Fonti
Manufacturer:
Richard Baudains
Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Intense, plummy nose. Concentrated fruit palate, firm acid, edgy, nervous finish but pure wild berry fruit.

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Walnut skins and prune – dried and fresh fruit. Powerful, concentrated red, very dark, with mahogany notes, will age beautifully. Fruit, acid and tannin in balance just feels very strong, dark and bitter at the moment.
Michael Palij
Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Restrained and tightly wound nose of small berry fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry) and vanilla. Appealing palate with alcohol and fruit to the fore, palate fades with tannins and acidity adopting the whip hand. Modern and gluggable in the short term but not a Riserva in the classic sense.
