Black cherry and iris, with touches of powder puff, saline nuance. Round entry, firm middle and long concentrated fruit finish, with lovely Sangiovese tang.

Slightly sweet, international, beautifully balanced, just lack connection with this Riserva.

Appealing nose of red currant, pomegranate, mocha, slightly unripe rose hip and vegetal note. Elegant, refined and delicate with no obvious oak but the fruit is one-dimensional and lacks the layers that would mark this out. Attractive but undistinguished.
