Savignola Paolina
Manufacturer:
Richard Baudains
Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Ethereal, very chocolaty nose. Ditto palate, sweet fruit, oak tannins, cocoa powder finish. The plummy fruit is authentic, the wood aromas invasive.

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Purple pinky, slightly bready, yeasty nose. Round ripe red fruit. Lacks some definition, slightly flabby but age worthy though not appetising. Long length.

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Vegetal with sweat, cabbage and other unlikely descriptors. Could be some Merlot or Syrah that is this wine’s undoing but it is a particularly unattractive style.
