Castello di Monna Lisa
Manufacturer:
Richard Baudains
Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Jammy fruit and oak nose, alcoholic palate, fleshy, low acid, grapey fruit and very chunky finish. Needs time.

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Smells a bit bordeaux’esque, too dark and concentrated with too much depth and not enough breadth. A good wine, very strong, I am sure will age well but whether it feels Italian with age?
Michael Palij
Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva
Lean and vegetal on the nose with an unripe, stalky character emanating from the soul of this wine. Some ripe liquorice and soy sauce and a generous mid-palate but this remains slightly disassociated with the fruit and structure at odds.
