Vigneto Sengialta
Manufacturer:
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Soave
Bright golden yellow. Bright apricot, herbs and oak on the nose. Then honey, vanilla, oak on entry and few fruit flavours (apple, pear) trying to emerge from the oaky veneer. Impressive wine but too oak dominated.
Michael Garner
Tasting: Soave
Full lemon gold. Spritzy, ripe, full and pungent with chalky and citrus nose. Broad and appealing palate; big, medium-full and lively with citrus acidity and green fruit flavours. Leesy notes. Good and typical traditional style.
Jane Hunt MW
Tasting: Soave
Light golden colour. Mealy/bready nose but then on the palate is dominated by oak tannins and has a rather astringent finish yet still maintains some of the typical waxiness. Citrussy aftertaste.
