Monte Alto
Manufacturer:
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Soave
Juicy bright ripe apple, pear and apricot aromas and flavours, complicated by sweet spices. At least this finishes sweeter and with less of the residual bitterness of many other oaked Soaves. Still, its finish is dry and astringent, and with a hint of green, still too oaky for me.

Tasting: Soave
Mid lemon straw. Intense with a herbal pungency and oak aromas. Full and ripe with ripe fruit flavours and balanced acid; toasty coconut and pineapple flavours. Some length.

Tasting: Soave
Pale lemony colour. Quite a classy, elegant nose with some bready character. Reasonably well-tuned for a wine with so much oak but I still would not choose to drink such an oak dominated wine. Drink in a year as it might improve.
