Tasting: Soave

Herbal, a little austere then picks up flesh at the back. Well made but still features a little too much bitterness for me.

Mid lemon straw. Some sulphur but good aromas of passion fruit and herbs with a positive mineral edge. Sherbet and lemon with full ripe fruit flavours underpinned by zippy acid. Juicy, fresh and full of life.

Crisp, light and with some delicate acacia floral perfume. Rather lean and overtly mineral on the palate. Fresh and for drinking now. Clean and well-made but lacks the extra mile.
