Costeggiola
Manufacturer:
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Soave
Very intense lime and grapefruit nose which is atypical unless there’s a lot of Trebbiano di Soave in here and that’s unlikely. Clean fresh long and very well made, but a little atypical.
Michael Garner
Tasting: Soave
Mid lemon straw. Tropical fruit aromas of fair intensity. Sweet and lifted. Full, ripe and intense with zingy acidity. Juicy ripe and lifted with good intensity of flavour and excellent balance.
Jane Hunt MW
Tasting: Soave
Odd nose – a bit like the Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand with the body odour character! Not very typical for Soave – citrussy. Suspect use of the wrong type of cultured yeasts. Also has unwelcome residual sugar. Don’t bother with this.
