Le Rive
Manufacturer:
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Soave
Clean, fresh, pure, penetrating, pretty aromas then quite sweet obviously made in a late harvest style, almost like a lighter Recioto. Palate has hints of smoky minerality. A lovely wine; long and fresh, but this has more in common with Alsace than it does dry Soave.

Tasting: Soave
Mid lemon gold. Pungent nose of herbs and citrus aromas with hints of wax and honey. Oak receding on palate; .full, round and juicy with coconut and butterscotch notes from the oak. Very good acid gives length and presence to the finish.

Tasting: Soave
Some citrussy notes on the nose – quite fruity in fact – but over-shadowed by a combination of oak and some sweetness. The alcohol seems very overblown and makes the wine seem overripe. Not keen. Drink quickly.
