Sangreal
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
Rather heavy, gruff, wooded-down aromas, with edgy fruit, too. On the palate, too, this is rather forceful, insistent, edgy, grunty and rooty, without the refinement and aerial poise I hope for from Pinot. But it couldn’t be anything but Pinot!
Roger Jones
Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
Fresh leather on nose, savoury and deep intensity of forest floor and good clean acidity, very much in Dujac style. Some serious tannin and structure here offering a wine to age, with lovely, savoury, herbaceous flavours and a bright finish; a wine to age.

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir
Herbal, aromatic strawberry notes on the nose. Powerful fruit, well-integrated oak and fantastic acidity. Pure fruit and complex velvety/juicy texture. Long, intense, salty aftertaste.
