Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

True Pinot scents, but in a slightly varnishy style. Sinewy and full. I find it a little tired for a 2010, but the ripeness is all there, it’s very true to variety, and it’s makes good drinking. So a good to very good wine just held in check a little by its style.

Luscious and ripe on the palate with delicate cherries and soft cedar wood. Elegant finish, some good acidity and different flavours jumping around in the mouth.

Pronounced and intense with notes of cherries and vanilla oak. Medium to full bodied, juicy and complex. Very well integrated oak, spicy, round and long.
