Les Santenots
Manufacturer:
Michael Schuster
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Very nice, rich, ripe red fruit to smell; generously fruity wine within a firm tannin structure, Long, ripe, juicy, youthful fruit core, plenty of matter, but some complexity too, and with good fruit length. Chewy, but good prospects.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Good deep colour with young rim. Ripe and briary autumn fruits on the nose, still a lot of oak and tannins on the palate and the fruit doesn’t come through at the moment, but presence and depth are there, although at the moment the oak dominates entirely.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Appealing red fruit nose with lots of wood. Wood comes through on the palate but matched by juicy red fruit and medium tannins, except on the finish where the wood dominates and pinches a little.
