Taillepieds
Manufacturer:
Michael Schuster
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Mineral but lean to smell; medium full, firmly tannic alongside the 2010 lively acidity – an overall austere feel to this; lean red fruit flavour of modest scope and medium length. Has a general meanness of character, and finishing brief too. Barely ripe fruit? Not much to tempt here!

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Fresh red, slightly diffuse rim. Elegant nose of red berry fruits showing fine ripeness and purity, good length and all elegance in the Volnay style and natural vigour and depth for the future.
Sebastian Thomas
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Floral, spicy plum fruit on the nose, some definition on the palate, with balanced, ripe acidity. Very present medium tannins, medium-long fruity finish.
