Robardelle
Manufacturer:
Michael Schuster
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Dark red; ripe, oak marked fruit on the nose; and the palate very marked by the new wood presence, rendering the wine dry and pinched to taste; good quality fruit marred, for the moment, by an excess of new oak tannin; good fruit parched.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Good colour, some maturity on rim. Nicely concentrated summer fruits on the nose, quite briary but also with a very good middle sweetness of fruit. Good length and quite lifted fruit and an altogether interesting wine for the mid-term.
Sebastian Thomas
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Restrained, perfumed, strawberry nose, in mouth lovely fine elegant and silky strawberry fruit. Some wood, but medium, fine tannin and a decent, long finish, which is slightly dried by the wood.
