Le Ronceret
Manufacturer:
Michael Schuster
Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Ripe fruit. Firm wine with ripe red fruit behind a firm dry tannin. Long, minerally and quite complex, but with a long-term structure; clear 1er cru complexity, but also a very firm tannic sinew. Good, long term, almost more Pommard than Volnay.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Deep red, violet rim. Nice expression of black summer fruits, good clarity and depth and the oak adds structure. Tannins still present and drying on the palate, but good middle sweetness of fruit and a good wine for the long term.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010
Woody, intense, lifted, stewed strawberry and gooseberry fruit. Very dense, cooked fruit on the palate which is blurred and aggressively stewed. Medium tannin and not a lot of finesse on finish.
