Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Sumptuous cherry nose, with seductive depth of fruit. Rich, super-ripe, concentrated, with fine acidity, yet it seems one-dimensional now. The tannins are fine and there’s no lack of freshness, but I find it hard to detect much individuality.Nonetheless, a very good wine.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

paler red-purple, weak rim;
light perfume, evolving;
clean fruit attack, then quite high alcohol shows on finish.

Jasper Morris MW

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

A slightly lighter colour, with little bouquet to show at first. A little whiff of new oak, then some gentle red fruit perfume emerges. It is a graceful,medium-bodied attractive wine for the medium term.
