The Bartondale
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pale green-gold. Lively, sappy, fresh, creamy; lots of aromatic charm. Vivid, fresh, juicy, exuberant palate. Less citric than some; more ripe whitecurrant. A bracing Chardonnay which will drink well for a year or two.
Roger Jones
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Lovely ripe and forward, great balance of citrus, stone fruit and texture, evolves well in the glass and love the freshness and clean finish.
Alessandro Marchesan
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Ripe citrus and nectarines on the nose with complex well integrated oak. Crisp acidity, wonderful structure and well integrated oak. Needs time but will develop wonderfully.
