Dog Point
Manufacturer:
Peter McCombie MW
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Youthful, quite oaky with fresh black fruit, a little angular now, but will improve.

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Vanilla and summer pudding character evident on nose and palate with lots of woodspice and minerality, especially on the long finish. Slight dryness of tannins, although fine textured, combined with crisp acidity gives the wine fierceness initially, but there is enough fruit to allow time for the structure to soften and harmonise.
Joanna Simon
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Kirsch and fresh cherry nose; spicy, kirsch palate with a delicately silky texture. light oak and fresh acidity with some tannin. But hasn’t developed. A little heat on the finish.
