Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Ripe, direct, raspberry and cherry nose, not very nuanced but has abundant fruit. Rich and fleshy, with good weight of fruit and firm tannins, this shows character and complexity, and good acidity gives persistence. There’s energy and charm here, and enough structure to give it ageing potential. Good length, but a slightly dry finish.

Lovely perfumed nose in a bright cherry fruit style. Very engaging village Vosne-Romanee, nothing forced here. Finish is quite tight at the moment but this should develop well.
