Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Clean, bright gold. Complex, creamy and mushroomy scents with a little twist of candy sweetness, too. Vivid and fresh, lively, quite acid-dominated, but with some creamy, perfumed back-notes to embroider in a little charm. Has something of the width and generosity you hope from with Margaret River. Complex finish; good wine.

Savoury and toasty on nose, some marmalade and flower blossoms, rich textured, lingering on palate with a lovely intensity of rich caramelised pineapple.

Tropical fruit and nectarines on the nose. Pronounced oak character and very concentrated fruit on the palate. Medium-long mango aftertaste.
