Selección
Manufacturer:
Mike Ritchie
Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
Spiced cherry fruit, with a backbone of ripe tannin and generous oak. Flatteringly full-bodied in style, plenty of alcohol and a ripe, sweet impression. Holds its power in reserve, doesn’t appear overly alcoholic.

Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
A bit developed, with crianza notes. Lovely fruit expression in mouth, with nice balance, despite a touch of acidity that is not well integrated. Nice meaty fruit in the finish, very clean.

Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
Lifted profile with red fruits underneath. Sumptuously juicy red berries on the mid palate, unexpectedly youthful for this vintage. The fruit stands apart in the wine, not showing the integration one would expect with this age and time in oak.
