Killerby
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Mid green-gold. Rather a reductive nose. Deep, smooth, generously contoured flavour, by contrast, with smoothly tongue-caressing flavours. There’s a mellow, rich palate here without obtrusive acidity. A nutty finish, finally. Very harmonious and complete wine, and much easier to drink than the skinny peers. Such a shame it’s been allowed to go into bottle with those reductive aromas.

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Deep opulent nose, savoury and spiced, rich and complex on the palate, multi-layered rich stone fruit, tropical flavours. Needs time, this is a lovely wine to age or decant, love the intense acidity at the end.

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Ripe red citrus fruit and vanilla, toasty oak. Rich, full bodies palate with well integrated oak, sweet toffee notes and long tropical fruit aftertaste.
