Domaine du Chateau Gris, Les Rouges du Dessus
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
Sweet oaky cherry and red fruits nose, fleshy and attractive. Rich, though with a very slight herbaceous tone, but it’s concentrated and lively, with a good dose of oak to add some complexity. The slight greenness returns on the finish, and may become amplified with age, though it’s fine now. Has some precision and lift on the finish, which is quite long.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
rather deep, youthful purple colour;
black fruits, fresh, rich nose;
full-structured, fresh, powerful wine, with good length, oakiness marked on finish.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
Slightly darker colour and a hint of reduction, dark raspberry tones. Ignoring the reduction, this delivers lovely fruit on the palate, medium-bodied, with the right balance of acidity and tannin. Very good length.
