Fleshy, meaty impression on the nose. Fully mature, with a boozy Christmas cake like richness to it. A connoisseur or collector’s Bierzo. Still lively.

Minty and spicy, showing nice berry fruit behind. Concentrated, tannic, very ambitiously built, with a long finish, impressive. Warm, quite heavy, requires wild boar and heavy meat dishes. For consolation in the mid of the winter.

Lively aromatics, roasted black fruits, vanilla, mocha, smoke. Sweetly vanilla black fruits on the palate, with drying finish. Alcohol pokes through warmly.
