Restrained, showing some development, with shy fruit aromas. Opens up with nice expression. Balanced, smooth, a bit warm but round and easy-going, shows some complexity. The final impression is attractive.

Typical Mencía aromas, with abundant red roses and red berries. Dense full-bodied style, with succulent berry fruits, balancing acidity, and a dark spicy, savoury note from the oak, which needs time to integrate further. Plenty of foursquare tannin, but it is in balance with the fruit. Big, bold, individual.
