Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Leathery nose, quite evolved. Fairly rich, rounded, and reasonably concentrated, but marred by extracted tannins and high alcohol. Clumsy. Medium length, chewy finish.

Nose very ripe, great vegetal aromas with mint notes. As the wine opens the sweetness take over the vegetal. Tannins very young and hard. Good complexity on the nose, a bit disppointed by the palate and alcohol.

Black fruits in the nose. An unexpected blast of freshness. Very sweet, dark, cooked fruit. A fruit monster.
