Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Mid gold. Sweet, light, elegant; a touch of sweetcorn. On the palate, though, this is slightly harder and hollower than most of its peers. A touch brutal and compressed.

Citrus hints on nose, zing and zang on palate, savoury and sweet. Well balanced and great intensity of citrus and ripe stone fruit, some caramelised pineapple and the toastiness is sweet.

Pronounced and intense nose, with ripe citrus and passion fruit notes. Creamy complex palate. Well structured with crisp acidity and good fruit character. Med-short aftertaste.
