Reine Pedauque
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
Lush red fruits nose, quite voluptuous.Broad, juicy, with ample upfront fruit and fair acidity. Not a profound wine but there’s plenty of fruit and a light tannic structure that adds complexity. It’s well made and balanced. Quite good length.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
bright, attractive ruby-purple;
bright fruit, then oak rather dominates the nose;
good fruit on start and mid-palate, tannins on finish, slightly bitter.
2nd bottle has better, open fruitiness on nose;
vibrant cherry fruit, fresh and balanced.
Jasper Morris MW

More fruit and a little oak. Still an austere style but this time it comes across as having grip to the fruit rather than flattening it.
