Halo
Manufacturer:
Peter McCombie MW
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Funky reduction, tastes better than it smells, with evolved red fruit and spice up front, then stern backbone.
Christine Parkinson
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Honey, butter & toast aromas muffling the fruit. Baked strawberries and victoria plum on palate. Very persistant creamy, hazelnut and honey oak character throughout is rather distracting, but Pinot fruit is there. Light bodied, fresh and with delicate but chewy tannins. Long finish.
Joanna Simon
Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir
Attractive nose of raspberry and rose-petal, with a hint of incense. Pure, sweet fruit on palate, supple but fresh and fine-boned structure. Not complex, but complete.
