Prendiville Reserve
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pale gold; no green glints, for once. Slightly varnishy, must-like scents; not wholly attractive. Intense, searching palate with lots of acidity rather dominating the fruit profile.
Roger Jones
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Deep savoury nose, pungent, full and savoury on the palate. Put it back in the cellar quickly, this is a deep intense wine throwing out toasted pineapple, creme caramel and bbq white peaches with peach licquor. Needs time, and will certainly be a stunning wine in 5 years time, buy to invest, a classic.
Alessandro Marchesan
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pronounced, oaky nose with plenty of vanilla, toffee character. Full bodied, rich almost luscious palate. Big and bold wine with plenty of acidity to support it.
