Savoury, rustic impression, ‘farmyard’ notes. The black fruits have transformed into black olive savouriness. Ready now, a big alcoholic mouthful. Bruising and brusque.

Toasty and spicy notes, quite oaky. In palate it is quite dominated by the barrique, showing its fruit only shyly. Overdone, but good quality.

Cedar, smoky aromas with a note of black fruits. Supple dark fruits, brisk bright acidity, firm grainy tannins, bold alcohol, all combine to make a hefty wine. Powerful and lacking subtlety.
