Waimea
Manufacturer:
Melanie Brown
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Ripe manadrins, touch of residual sugar gives a decieving impression it has good flavour, notes of kaffir lime leaves. Alcohol feels unbalanced and obtrusive.
Roger Jones
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Guava and paw paw nose, ripe and intense, high acidity but well balanced. Lots in the mouth, leaving a lovely tingling fresh aromatic fruity palate, delicate white peaches and wild flowers.
Peter McCombie
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Gooseberry & tomato leaf, vibrant citrussy acidity. Very fresh, with gooseberry flavours and good length.
